Aluminum articulating night vision binocularNight Vision

The Katana Ruggedized is an articulating night vision binocular housing CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. It shuts off each pod individually when stowed, has tool-less IPD stops and a low battery indicator, and runs on one CR123A with a LEMO port for external power.

    Vehicle Operations

    Nocturn states that the low-profile design of the Katana Ruggedized makes mounting and dismounting vehicles easier when the device is stowed.

    Articulating Use

    Each pod shuts off individually when rotated up and turns on when rotated down, so the binocular can be run with one or both eyes.

    Extended Missions

    An onboard CR123A runs the device for about 25 hours, and a LEMO 2-pin port connects an external power pack for extended operating time.
