At 11.4 lbs, the LAMG puts belt-fed, sustained suppressive fire in the hands of a single gunner without the weight that usually comes with it: a 5.56mm support weapon meant to be carried and controlled by the operator running it, not just fired from a fixed position. Its chrome-lined, cold-hammer-forged barrel handles the heat of extended belt-fed fire, while the QDC mount and M-LOK rail let it run suppressed and take the same accessories as the rest of a unit's weapon systems.

    Assault Support

    KAC says the Assault Machine Gun delivers sustained volume of fire to an assault element at a weight low enough to keep pace with the assault.

    Suppressive Fire

    The LAMG is a belt-fed support weapon capable of suppressive or grazing fire while staying transportable and controllable, fed from a 100-round sack or 200-round box of linked 5.56 ammunition.

    Suppressed Operation

    An integral Quick Detach Coupling on the flash eliminator accepts KAC's QDC sound suppressors with minimized point-of-impact shift.
